'Raped' Story Code '67312' by Beverly Bridges

20th June 1980: Sam leaps into the body of Katie McBain, a date-rape victim receiving medical attention in Marin County Hospital. With the support of Katie’s sister, Libby, Sam decides to press charges on the perpetrator, Kevin Wentworth, despite the man’s protestations of innocence, and the fact that his family are very well-respected in the community. Al arrives on the scene, unaware of events because Katie is lying in the Waiting Room in a catatonic state; however, with Ziggy’s help he soon determines that Kevin was never charged, but instead went on to become an abusive husband. Eliciting the help of Assistant District Attorney Nancy Hudson, Sam proceeds with his charges; however, he soon finds himself the victim of a newspaper smear campaign, and forced to feel guiltier than the rapist…
